"I've always had problems with the normal neck gaiter things (turtle fur etc.) because I couldn't breath when I was doing anything steep. This thing is completely windproof, so it's great when it's blowing, but it allows you to breath easily with either your mouth or nose. Definitely your best bet for covering your face from the wind/snow."
