"The first thing that struck me when I opened the mus/fnd box was that the guitar is gorgeous. One of the nicest sunbursts ive ever seen and the finish is flawless. The setup out of the box was ok. I lowered the bridge till it buzzed and brought it back up a tad and it plays nicely but I'll still get it set up as soon as I can stand to part with it for a few days. frets are nicely polished and bending is almost too easy the neck IS on the fat side sort of like a LP jr so people with small hands might wanna play one first. Tone wise it totally delivers. Not quite as nasty as a LP jr (I got to compare mine to a vintage one) but an awesome clean OR dirty sound. Youd expect it to be able to get great overdrive tones and it does but I was blown away by the clean sound as well.It'll play beatles(sounds great on please please me)Dack Dale,Steely Dan. The only thing it wont really do well is jazzy kinds of sounds or sounds you just HAVE to have a neck pickup for but for $250 less than a Jr you get a beautiful(better finish then half of the gibsons hanging at the local store) well made great feeling and sweet/nasty sounding guitar...Btw the gigbag is quite nice too as far as gigbags go (my case arrived today) This ones a keeper."
