"This was a Christmas gift to my 11-month-old daughter (had to get it because it brought back memories of my similar doll in the 80's). Yes, the doll looks nothing like the chubby doll on the box--the face is flat, doll is skinny, hair is different. I'm glad other people said the same thing because I thought maybe it was just MINE that had a problem. My daughter didn't care or notice, and she cracks up laughing and clapping when I press the button to make her giggle. I know it's not made for babies, so I removed the choking hazard socks and hair bows. It's definitely one of her favorite dolls and smells really good too."
