"Have had this unit 10 days. Brand new out of the box it has its problems. You can start working out and all of a sudden it will just stop. Sometimes 5 minutes into the workout, other times its 15-20 minutes. Very unreliable, everytime it happens it resets the moniters so you can't keep accurate records of time, mileage, or calories burned. Called customer service and they stated its not uncommen. They wanted me to pull the cover to the motor and re adjust the belt not the tread belt BUT THE MOTOR BELT. This is not something you can easily do without some mechanical background. They are telling a consumer a few days after purchase to pull the machine apart, which I found to be absured. I did what they stated and the problem still is happening. They said its all under warranty and the can send someone out...... Get this for[$]. Now come on we are talking 10 days I have had it and they want to charge me to check it out. Its really not the money, but the principle.Well its being returned and I will purchase another brand and would never recommend this brand to anyone. Beware Proform [...]stated the problem is not uncommen."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
