"Works with Guitar Hero 1 on PS3! After a recent update I attempted to use RadioShack's generic USB adaptor on my PS3 with Guitar Hero 1, the first game. It actually worked with slight caveats. The Game must be in started from the menu command rather than the x button of a controller. You do this by useing the frt buttons to bring up "Play" After that You can access the game without any problems form the controller. The only failing part is you lose the Whammy bar action but the star power tilt function and Hammer Ons and Pull Offs were possible in the tutorial. Biggest problem? it did not work with GH2 Which Apparently has a slightly different wireing in the guitar But atleast those of you with GH1 can play without a PS2 if you can stand loosing the Whammy Bar."
