"I bought this for my daughter because the design looked really cool. What a mistake. First of all she's 3 (yes, younger than the recommended age)and she likes to color on everything. Even though the markers are "washable" they will stain the metal rods and the storage basket underneath. If you plan on trying to break this thing down to travel with it you better take the assembly instruction with you. You pretty much have to take the entire thing apart to get it in the travel bag. Needless to say I took it back and got a sturdy dependable art easel."
