"I purchased this shredder to replace my old on which had lasted for seven years. It was easy to set up and fit where the old one had been in my office. I did not want to overwork in on my first try so I fed 1-2 sheets at most at a time into the shredder. I was taking breaks in between shredding while working on my computer. After a combined total of about 5 minutes of shredding, it jammed and began to smoke. I have sent it back. It may have been defective, however I thought the results should be noted."
