"My central a/c was going out so I decided to purchase this as a secondary source for cooling to help prolong its life as long as possible. Well two days after I ordered the portbale a/c my central a/c went out! We lived without it for a couple of days which was horrible and the temperature outside was only 80 degrees! We got the koldfront and used it our bedroom so we could sleep, it kept us cool until we got the replacement central a/c that took two weeks. We use it now in our bedroom when we use the treadmill to keep the room extra cool."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
