"We ordered on August 5 and it took about 10 days We're happy with the overall quality of it. What I like is the size, weight, and exceptional color, brightness etc. Overall loudness could be better, but since we run it through our sound system, it is not a problem. The only thing I hate is after paying $1,600 for it, it needed a part to keep it from automatically changing the "source selection". While watching TV, it would change channels without automatically without any user input and defaulted to Channel 10. Same thing happened while watching a DVD (on a Samsung DVD player), it would sporadically automatically switch over to the TV by itself. The uncommanded change of the "video source" has become quite frustrating. Sometimes it occurs many times while watching a particular source, other times it is days before it occurs. We've been waiting for about 3 weeks now (it was back-ordered from Samsung) and are awaiting for Samsung to ship the part to our authorized dealer to effect repair under warranty. Apparently this is a known problem. It would seem that Samsung could repair their products yet to be bought so that the customer could avert any problems upon purchase. From what the repairman told me, the repair part only cost about $20. It is a shame the customer msut bear the brunt of the inconvience. Seems Samsung could improve their process and be more proactive with known problems."
