"The TV, which we have sitting in an entertainment center, appears to be front heavy. If a small child were to pull on it, it could come crashing down on top of him. I intend to hollow out the back of the entertainment center in order to push the TV further back.

The picture quality is just okay. Writing on the screen, e.g. CNN headlines at bottom of the screen, appears a little hazy. However, the overall viewing quality is satisfactory.

If you want a 27" CRT, I think this the only model available, and it is a lot less expensive than TV's possessing more current technologies."
