"I looked long and hard for a solid bike rack that would carry several bikes, not scratch my vehicles and be easy to install. I pretty much narrowed my search down to the Bones 3, but after talking with a bike store manager over the phone, he convinced me I needed to look at the Bones RS also. The Bones RS, by far, turned out to be the best trunk rack I ever saw. It wasn't cheap, but I feel I got a great rack for the investment. It fits my 2002 Ford Windstar and 1999 Ford Contour perfectly.

The adjustable arms (width) was something I also found very useful. The first Yakima rack I tried (Big Joe 3) had arms that were too far apart. Yakima suggested the King Joe 3; however, none of their trunk racks would allow 3 bikes to be placed on my 2002 Ford Windstar -- 2 was the maximum! The Bones RS allows 3 bikes because it mounts on more solid areas of the mini-van's back door.

You'll love how easy it mounts and dismounts! You can do it in seconds. No messing with straps that get all tangled and have to be adjusted. The ratcheting system is great!

I highly recommend this rack to others!"
