"My wife, who is a physician, suggested I try the Sona pillow after I found using a CPAP for moderate sleep apnea simply unbearable. I was skeptical, given that the sleep meds people I had seen had never suggested it and told me the only alternatives were CPAP or surgery, but to my amazement the pillow gave me the first decent, non-snoring night sleep I have had in years. I have been using it now for about six weeks and both my wife and I are delighted--she says I no longer snore and I feel like I am getting a good night's sleep. The only drawback is that the pillow is very firm and it takes some getting used to--but much less than the dreaded CPAP! I would hope that the manufacturers can come up with a stuffing that is a little kinder on the neck and cheeks."
