The frame has screw threads on the fork and seat stay to support installation of racks, if desired.

You may find the stock grips (Specialized Body Geometry Comfort grips) twisting on you, and you may perhaps consider bar-ends for more grip space, as the shifters occupy most of the handlebar space, otherwise.
