"I have owned a Sunbeam Hot Shot since the early 1980's. It is truly the best appliance. In 90 seconds, you get up to 16 oz of near boiling water. Unlike using a microwave, the water is hotter, stays hot longer, and in less time. I use this whenever I need hot water - beverages, cooking, oatmeal. It is a very simple to use, reliable (I am on my second in 25+ years). I am always surprised at how few people are familiar with this product, but once they see it in use, they love it!"
