"This is a great looking gate that works for small, non jumping dogs, like a dachshund. The gate is very low, and can easily be stepped over by humans. Larger dogs would easily jump the gate. The gate can expand to cover a large dining room entrance, and also has an elegant look to it. It is easy to assemble, but is not a portable type gate you would cart around in your trunk. It is best used in a stationary location, like to block off a dining room area."
