"We bought this gate to keep our puppy out of our family room which has a very wide opening. He's allowed in there only when he's gone potty but if he hasn't then the gate was supposed to keep him out. Well, he's only 3 months old and 10 lbs and he can jump over the gate without too much effort. We are going to see if a puppy trainer can help us teach him that when the gate is up then he is not allowed in. We are just disappointed that we spent so much and for right now, it's ineffective. BUT on a positive note, it was very easy to put together and it's very attractive."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
