"I'm now doing part-time volunteer work for a 450-member organization I belong to. We are undertaking a number of new and challenging projects, including a new version of our monthly newsletter, that will include advertising from our members (to other members) by way of inserting business cards into advertising pages.

We are also setting up a new website for the Club, and the newsletter is to be available there in the not-to-distant future. The newsletter has always been delivered by 3rd class mail, but until the website is functional, we hope to be able to e-mail it to members who want to receive it that way. The current version is 4 pages, which will be scanned as a .pdf file and attached to the e-mail.

You can imagine how many files this is generating, and the 400GB Toshiba portable external hard drive was purchased with that in mind. It's also much more efficient than messing with CD's (which I always dreaded!). So far, I can give it the "5 star" rating!"
