"When I was 16 years old and got my first car, I never thought when I was 40 years old I would be getting back into riding a bike! But here I am. I'm a Police Officer in Dallas, Texas. Became a Bicycle Officer in 2007, so that got me back in the saddle. In February 2008 I bought my own Gary Fisher Mountain Bike, and soon found I was only riding on the road. So I ditched the nobbies and put road tires on the mountain bike. Gained 2 1/2 mph, but still wasn't satified. I rode that bike 4-5 times per week and found myself picking up ground on the road bikers. Then I bought the Trek 1.5 and LOVE IT! It's my first road bike and I can't believe the difference. Lightweight and fast! Couldn't be happier. Trek makes a great product, the only concern should be the person putting it together. Make sure to test ride yours before you purchase. If you have ANY concerns, tell them to make the adjustments before you leave. If the bike is assembled properly...you can't find a better bike at this price! Trust me, I've done my homework! I bought the black and white. Gorgeous bike!"
