"I started riding my Mongoose 450 Crossway again after a 5+ year hiatus and decided after a couple weeks that I needed something better if I was going to get back into riding on a serious basis. I Checked around and found that 2W1P in Costa Mesa offered a great price on this bike. I did some research on the internet and all of the buyer comments and industry reviews I read about the Madone 4.5 indicated that it was a great ride. [...], the store manager at 2W1P, was over the top with answering my questions and with helping me get everything sorted out and me fitted to the bike.I took my first ride today (50 Miles R/T) and was extemely impressed with the way the entire bike handled. The gearing was impressive on both hills and flat sections of the ride. The bike never seems to run short of available gear combinations to meet any riding situation. After 30 miles into my ride I started "feeling the saddle." It seems a little stiff and I may replace it if my opinion doesn't change after a few more rides. Overall though, this is a hell of a bike for the money!"
