"We have three Pet Zone Doghouses, one of these Tuff and Rugged, and TWO Cozy Cottages (identical only smaller) and we use them for two beagles and a treeing walker coonhound. We purchased the plastic doors and everything works great. The only downside is that the sliding plastic vents under the roof aren't attached TO the house, so you have to be careful when removing the roof so that you don't lose them. We take ours apart (SOOOO NICE) Twice a year and scrub them down and pressure wash them. We live in Illinois so these all kinds of weather and work great. The cream color can get a bit dirty, but I think if I actually SCRUBBED it it would get cleaner. VERY Nice doghouses, easy to disassemble and I can do it myself and carry the pieces in and out of the kennel door. There is NO HARDWARE, these just snap together. The plastic doors do screw on. We had a friend's dog over and he chewed the plastic door on one of ours, but our dogs have never bothered the doors. The plastic does get cloudy on the door after lots of use. We have had the first one we bought for about 6 years. Love these houses!!!"
