"I bought this filter to replace my old one. If you have an older Viking filter, you will know that it takes about an hour to fill one 8oz glass of water. You can literally walk away, come back 30 minutes later, and it will be half full. It was that way from the first moment I got the refrigerator. Now, with these new filters, I no longer have to miss important events or conversations, it fills the glass quickly. Replacing the filter is easy, except I did have to grab a pair of pliers to get the old one out."
