"I spent considerable time researching 12-bottle wine 'cellars' online before deciding on this model. I was at first concerned that 50-degrees F is the lowest temperature it can reach (most can chill to 45 or colder). But then I discovered that - aside from sparkling wines which I loathe - most reds and whites store perfectly at 55 degrees. Once it reached that setting, it has never waivered. The black glass door assures protection from damaging light rays while the smooth, vibration-free operation is blissfully quiet. For my purposes, there was no need to chill any colder or to pay extra for a dual-zone model. The Vinotemp I-Cellar was made for me. And - how sexy are those blue lights? Wow!"
