"This is a great little compact fan. I use it on my desk at work. Previous fans, even small ones, have been loud and intrusive (can be heard by callers and other cubicle dwellers). Due to the lack of a shroud on this fan there is very little noise. The soft fabric blades move plenty of air (on the "low" setting) to keep me comfortable. I have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my desk, and I'm pretty out of shape, so I'm nice and hot once I hit my desk. This little fan does a great job of cooling me off quickly and letting me get down to work comfortably."
