"I am very focused on healthier eating and weight loss. This is the greatest kitchen appliance I own for making meals interesting and easy. I have used it for so many veggies as well as mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. For low carb eating, I steam squash, broccoli...and the best ever!.... mashed cauliflower! It is a low-carb side dish that is so very much like mashed potatoes without the guilt! If you are going to use the masher attachment, then the smaller you cut the raw veggies, the more effective the masher. The ONLY downside was that the mashing can leave the results a little coarse but for steaming, it is absolutely wonderful and a joy to own!"
