"I needed this ac unit for a sun room, which has glass on two sides. In turn, I bought another ac unit of this type for a studio with a sliding glass door. For the price I paid for each ac, I am disapointed with the ability of the machine to effectively cool the room. The flow of air for this unit is not suffient to disperse cool air through out the room. The cord on the unit is too short. So, I am limmited in where I can put this unti in the room. The hose could also be a touch longer. I had to spend another $70. to buy a fan and a 12ft long extension cord. (I had also spend about another $300.00 in sheers/curtains to help keep the sun out.) However, I do think that this ac unit may be sufficient in rooms with better insulation and few windows. Unfortunately, this ac unit did not meet my needs. If I still had the box, I would return it, and get a window ac. I give it a C rating."
