"I had a washer/dryer since the beginning of time and was afraid to part with them even though they were falling apart. When the repairman came by and threatened it was his last visit, I knew it was time to come into the 21st Century. Bought the whirlpool duet washer and gas dryer and haven't regretted my purchase one bit. Both are quiet as a mouse. First time I used them I watched the panel light up like a kid watching the fireworks for the very first time. Loads take a little longer but for most part clothes come out looking great and love the different settings. Whites could be a little whiter but I now leave them for a longer setting and that seems to help. The smell at first is not great but that seems to wear off in time."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
