"My first time using a pressure cooker, this made it so simple and the food came out perfectly each time.. I used alot of crock pot cooking in the past, however it takes almost all day to cook... I just simply took my main coarse of meat out of the freezer added in all of the ingredients of my recipe, set the timer had to add some time but it was so simple to do, I didnt have to stand over a hot stove nor wait all day with my slow cooker... What a nice product and the quality of it is outstanding as well as the design... Love it! I have one question does anyone know if you can do canning in this particular model?.. I suppose I could, but I am not to sure on that one.. As I am just getting into the whole canning concept... I was used to the older cast iron skillets and such alot of out doors cooking and smoking turkey's etc., this pressure cooker thing is all knew to me.... I loved the fact that it has the safety pressure gage, I tried to open it too soon but it wouldnt allow me to open it, and of course than it rings a bell... hummm probably not suppose to, that is why the lid wouldnt come off for me, nice safety feature especially for some of us just starting out of the whole pressure cooker concept... Like myself... Thats why I gave it a 5 star ... I would definetly recommend this product to all the first time users of a pressure cooker..."
