"i'm impressed with how quietly it runs. however.. when i try to make hamburger.. i cut the meat into 1 inch pieces and put about 1/2 pound in at a time and pulse pulse pulse.. i always end up with chunks that NEVER grind! i tried bigger pieces as well, same thing. i think a hand grinder would be simpler and more effective. once the blade kind of grabbled hold of the meat and just spun it around like a washing machine. it's great for liquids and sauces though."
