"What makes this tanner stand apart from others is its rather thin consistency. It makes it easy to quickly apply and rub this in to your legs and arms. I find other similar tanner/lotion formulas are thick and greasy, so mistakes and streaks are almost sure to happen. Also, I'm not sure why (because all tanners use the same active ingredient) but this one doesn't leave me orange.

I can't give this five stars though, because like a lot of other reviewers here, I think the sparkle thing is obnoxious. I have not tanned in the sun for 10 years, and even though I use self tanner daily, I have relatively light skin. I could see where the gold sheen would look pretty on darker complexions, but it just looks fake on lighter skin. Please, L'OREAL, read the countless reviews here, take out the glitter, or at least make a glitter free product as well!"
