"On Friday, I received 2nd degree burns from a boiling pot of hot noodles to my chest area. Went to Waldgreens clinic and every antibiotic that they could have prescribed to me had the ingredient sulfa in it (which aids in the pain and healing of burns) but I am allergic to sulfa. They basically told me to just keep it clean & put Neosporin on it. I am still in a lot of pain. Can this stuff be used to fresh raw skin? My skin came off onto the towel when I instantly grabbed it after the hot water hit my chest.
I just want something to stop the pain, tingling and itching and I'd like to see the scars go away. I have this stuff called 2nd skin that has helped some but I need something for the pain. Just curious if you can put this on the fresh torn meat?"
"I used BurnStuff for the first time on a steam burn. It seemed to help and I've been searching for it to buy it again since.
I used to keep the last small tube of BURNSTUFF in my purse. While at a friends home - their teenager burned her hadn with a hot glue gun.
I said, "Oh I have burn stuff" and - when they saw the name - they were amsued - (because the tube reads, BURNSTUFF!)"

What's hot? Apparently this review. Makes you wonder what everyone keeps talking about...
"I was looking for something to numb "the" area and numb the pain. I used it for something else, not for a burn, because it had an ingredient i needed. Without Burnstuff the pain was horrible, after I applied it, the area was numb and I only felt a tiny pinch, which was nothing compared to doing "it" without Burnstuff!!!! I feel a responsability to recommend this product because it changed my life!!! I used it for a personal use. Thanks!!!"
Pros:
"Ewwwww... TMI!"
"A pharmacist recommended it for the treatment of my severe sunburn blisters on my swollen face. Burnstuff worked through the night giving me not only enough relief to sleep without pain, but also reduced the size of the blisters dramatically after the first application. The paste is in very small single application pkgs. so you could put them everywhere, camping gear, beach bag, work, car, etc."

"Burn Stuff has been by far the best minor burn relief product I have ever found. [...]
It relieves the pain the fastest and helps heal quickly. All other products, sprays or ointments are like putting tap water on a burn compared to Burn Stuff."

Cons:
"IT WORKS. Not so serious name, very serious stuff. My mother called me at work in a panic - she had stringy, melted plastic that would not come off her fingers and was plunging them in ice water. The ice water helped to eventually cool and loosen the plastic from her fingers, but did nothing to control swelling and severe pain. She had a serious 2nd degree burn. I bought Burn Stuff at Walgreens and she said the pain was alleviated instantly after applying it to her blisters and the skin around the blisters. The Burn Stuff paste is thin enough that you do not have to push it around on delicate skin. After seeing the results my mother experienced, I bought a package for myself and keep some of the tubes in a kitchen drawer and some in the medicine cabinet."
Pros:
"After burning 3 of my fingers on a vegetable steamer it was too painful to sleep. Went to walgreens desperately searching for anything to help the pain and found this. I was amazed by how well it worked and now it's the first thing I look for. [...]"
Pros:
"I received a third degree burn from my oven approximately 4 weeks ago. My burn was not healing very well when I was using antibiotics, but when I switched to using "burn stuff", my burn began to heal drastically. The change was amazing!
I suggest combining it with "2nd skin", because I found that to be extremely effective!"

Cons:
"On a cruise, too much sun resulted in a bad burn and this Stuff worked 100%. Than I got a steam burn and ...complete relief immediately. I will never be without The Burn Stuff on a vacation. This product deserves wide distribution and national advertising."
Pros:
"Used this for a pretty severe sunburn on my nose that was oozy and painful. This product really helped with the pain immediately. Only issue was that since I used it on my nose, I had to smell it constantly - and I thought it had a funky odor. It's also a weird color. But hey - it works!"

"After searching for something to soothe a badly blistered sunburn, I came across Burn Stuff on Walgreens.com. Had I simply seen it in the pharmacy aisle without access to reviews, I would not have beleived it to be effective. It's understated packaging and non name-brand doesn't sell the product well. HOWEVER, this really is a miracle cure. Withougt Burn Stuff, I could barely function. My entire chest was covered with that crawly, painful itch/burn and nothing seemed to help. I tried all kinds of products for sunburns, inlcuding those that include a topical analgesic. Once I put Burn Stuff on, however, the sensation almost immediately calmed and I could function, and, more importantly, sleep, once again. The burn actually healed within a few days.
A few weeks later, when my husband dripped hot solder down his arm and burnt off several layers of skin, I immediately coated it with Burn Stuff. He says he barely felt the pain afterward, and I watched the wound begin to heal and close up rather quickly. After a few month, there is still a noticeable scar, but it's more of a discoloration than a textured scar.
Two days ago, I burned my hand on the 350 degree oven at a relative's house. It was painful until I was able to get home and apply Burn Stuff. Once it was applied, I no longer felt the burn and it is healing wonderfully.
The only complaint is that the paste has an odd odor and is a rusty brown color that does rub off on clothing if you have to apply it to an area where it will inevitably come into contact with your clothing. That said, I would much rather have the funky smell and color than have the effectiveness reduced by a lab's attempt to change the chemical makeup to alter the color/scent."
