Pros:
"Just returned from 5 days in the backcountry of Denali and this tent was a champ. It's light, easy to set up, and it stood up well to 40mph winds. There is a lot of headroom at one end and it tapers quite low at the other which is adequate for sleeping and for any organizing you do from a sitting position. Make sure to set up the tent with the lower, tapered end facing the wind and peg its side first, then set up the larger arch."
Pros:
"When I bought this tent [...] I was on a very tight budget so I was basically looking for the cheapest tent out there. After using this tent for a two night spring backpacking trip I found it to be a very good investment. Although it is rated as a one person tent me and my friend actually shared this tent on our trip and it fit us as well as our gear very nicely. The only thing I would recommend is to get the footprint and be aware that it is not a freestanding tent."

Cons:
"I've had the tent for two years and backedpacked over 20 times in all weather conditions including 2 feet of snow falling in a night. I've yet to have a problem. Great weather protection. It is small, light and packs easy. There is also plenty of room for gear. For the price you can't beat this tent."
Pros:
"This is a great solo tent..I use it for me and my dog.. We both fit plus room for gear and lots of room under the fly. Pretty lightweight, even with the footprint. AWESOME!"
Pros:
"Not as waterproof as I thought it would be. Things under the vestibule get wet easily when it rains 'cause the rainfly is so lightweight."

Cons:

"I purchased this tent for my son to use for backpacking with the Boy Scouts. The tent is light enough to backpack and is easy to set up. It is has plenty of room and is water proof. The second day of winter camp it rained all day. The tent stayed dry while others were placing tarps on the tops of their tents to keep the rain out. I camp with a MSR Zoid 1 tent. If I had discovered Alps Mountaineering tents before I purchased my MSR Zoid 1 tent, I would of definitely purchased the Alps Mountaineering Comet 1.5. Best value for the money."
