It was packed to protect the exterior and the movable parts had the needed restraints to insure that there was no damage to the tub, gearbox, and electrical controls. "I just got this washer yesterday and it's going back. It makes so much racket that I have to go in another room to use the phone. It makes a terrible "clang" when shifting gears and during the wash cycle instead of your usual swish sound, this one goes pocka,pocka,pocka. It really gets on my nerves.
