"I bought the Amana dishwasher after reading about it in Consumer Reports. It washes good and is moderately quiet. It has a tall tub that fits a lot of dishes. The price is right and it is a Maytag product. The first one got smashed in shipping. The second one arrived in one piece. It was easy to install. "We bought a home with this dishwasher newly pre-installed. It is in nearly-new condition; however, despite my best efforts to use top of the line dishwashing liquid, rinse aids, and dishwasher cleaners, this dishwasher has not yet once gotten my dishes clean.
