"This fridge runs alot less than my last (a KitchenAid) and is much quieter. I have more refrigerator space but a little less freezer space. The best feature is being able to fit wide trays and large frozen pizzas in without having to angle them as I did in my old side by side. Stay Away from Amana
"We bought an Amana AFD2535 2 years ago. Right after the warrenty expired a thermostat or as they call it tempature regulator went bad. had to have replaced and lost most food as a result. 2 months later a second one died again over a weekend more spoilage.The repair service now found that the "frost assembly" is the issue which is a new charge.After getting a call back that the part is unavailable from the repai..." "to date, fine - EXCEPT that every time you open either refirgerator door, condensate drip from the door onto the floor. The only way to avoid this problem is to turn the "energy saver" off - whic wastes $$$. ARRRRGGGHHHH! "
