"I wanted a toaster, that toasted well, and a small "toaster oven" that would broil small items like open faced sandwiches. It made sense to buy a unit with a dedicated toaster and a small toaster oven.

"This item is not adequately insulated. In operation, it's surfaces become so hot that they are a serious safety hazard. I returned it. This is unfortunate because otherwise the item would have been just what I wanted. "
