Nice and silent
"This cooler is great but not perfect! Temperature is regulated properly. The system is silent enough to feel confortable. The front door with tainted glass provides sufficient visibility of the stock (e.g.if a guest comes in, I can quickly find the bottle I would like to open). Constant noise is annoying
"Although the noise is much lower when compared to compressor based systems it is constant and quite annoying if placed in a dining/living room. Works well and the shelfs slide out easily. Fits larger bottles if a shelf is removed. Humidity goes well below 50% but placing a small container with water in the unit helps somewhat. "[...] Be aware that if you store many burgundy bottles you will have reduced space. I am using for 8 burgundy and 16 bordeaux so capacity is 24 but STILL a great price for a quality unit! "

"For the price this cooler is a good investment. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but the temperature stays fairly constant. The only downside is the sound of the fan. There is a continuous, constant hum. It isn't very loud but it is always there, like an itch you can't scratch. "
