Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes

"This toy has been a lifesaver and a favorite of my son for months and months now. I opened it first thing when he was born, and he is now almost 10 months and still loves to play with it every single day. He loves the music, loves the lights, and loves that he can pick it up and take it with him. The music is so pleasant and classical, not the typical corny and annoying child songs. It's a seriously wonderful toy and I'd buy it over and over!!"

"I have never felt compelled to write a review for a toy, but this one is so fantastic. It seems simple and like there must be a million things on the market that do the exact same thing, but I haven't found one that comes close to matching this one. As others have said, this is a meltdown stopper.



It is small enough to throw in the diaper bag, great for making trips in the car entertaining, cheap enough so losing it and replacing it is not a killer to the wallet, and the music doesn't annoy me.



By far my favorite use, though is a distraction when trimming baby nails. Ever since I got this I have been able to successfully distract my son. He lets me cut all of his nails without complaining now.



Batteries seem to last forever in this toy. My son has been using it for almost 7 months, and the batteries haven't needed changing once."

"I got this toy for my 1 year old after she played with one her cousin had. A lot of the reviewers talk about it with young infants, but my daughter loves it and she's over a year--though perhaps she would be bored with it if she'd had it since she was little.



We got it as a new toy before a cross country car trip and it was a blessing!! I now keep it in the car and it's her special car toy to keep her occupied while driving. The music is gentle enough to not be grating when I listen to adult music, nor is it distracting in the background if I'm listening to talk radio.

"I can't believe our 13 month olds still love this toy, almost more now than ever. Though it would seem stimulating, it's actually a favorite bedtime toy that they love to press and light up. As others have said it's a great distractor and has stopped many a meltdown in its tracks.

Only downsides are that it only plays four songs and, after quite a bit of use, the paint has started to wear off of the music button. Pretty minor issues and at least the music isn't annoying like so many of the other toys on the market!"

"Our son loved this toy from day one, he's almost a year old and still loves playing with it. The lights and sounds he can't get enough of, he can sit longer with this toy and enjoy all the musical sounds. He just loves pressing the button to make it light up. Highly recommended and i do beleive he's being stimulated in a good way."

"Though my Take Along is a little older than the this updated one listed, I'm sure this one is still just as incredible. My son is almost 9 m/o now and still loves to have this handy. I forgot it on a 5 hour trip to see my sister and I paid for it!! I will buy this toy as a gift as long as they make it!"

"Plays lots of songs and the lights that go along with them are so cute. I played this near my belly when I was pregnant and he still loves it 7mos later. The button to make the songs play is not intuitive for the baby to press, it would be nice if it were a little more buttony. My baby likes to chew on the handle. All around a nice toy and worth the money."

"This "music maker" has saved me so many times! We often walk through the grocery store aisles with music trailing behind us as it is the only thing that can keep my daughter content when I need to run errands. She loves the lights and different music. It's also held up well after being dropped/tossed many times. Definitely a favorite!"
