"I can throw this in my backpack and know that it's going to work when I need it. The top twists up and down to protect the tip. It's a compact design that's easy to hold and apply. The tape doesn't slip off the tip. It's easy to control the application. I've read that other people find the tape comes out too fast, but I do not agree. I like the old model
"We use these every day in our work. We have tried several of these correction tapes. Bic was the best. We have used Bic for several years now. This new model doesn't seem to work as well. Not sure why. I will try to find the older model from another store...." Read Full Review »

it is only slightly bigger then the mini. if you are switching over the tape comes out a bit faster. other then that i will be buying it again ~.~

"I carry this product in my pocket on a daily basis. A very dependable and compact design. Won't lose a cap with the new "twist to expose the application tip", but the application tip is exposed to dirt when in the stored position. Overall it's a great product I'll continue to use. "
