"It's motor is loud, but that's because it works, and it's suction is the best as rated by CR, and tested at my local store against the competition by me. I whip out the Handvac version to do my hardwood floors because of the convenience over my plug in canister style vacuum cleaner, so I'm looking forward to the upright version."
