"i've got reasonably dark, thick hair and this holds it in place, plus, my hair tends to get dry, and this is so far the best product i've found for that. it IS a bit difficult to wash out (though if you rinse long enough it does, i'm just usually in and out of the shower pretty fast) but it doesn't do any damage. if you use too much your hair might look a bit wet or greasy, but eventually you work out the right dosage so to speak for how you want your hair to look."
