"I love the look and sturdiness of this chair, but there are a few design flaws with the straps that I would love to see worked out. The first being their removal for cleaning. You have to be a near acrobat so you can contort yourself to get the bottom/lap strap out of the chair to launder. A total pain! Another issue I have with the straps is the location of the buckles when fastened. When a child is strapped in..." Read Full Review »

"4 1/2 stars. The chair was a breeze to put together; my husband was very impressed with the ease of the process. I began using the product when my son turned 6 months & began solids. The chair is good looking & very modern--my friends said it looks like it belongs on the Jetsons. I purchased the chair for two great reasons, the one-piece, molded plastic construction & the chair's ability to be up at the breakfast bar or down at the dining room table. I also like the compact tray that has two removable inserts & the ease of which the chair slides around on our Travertine. When not in use, the chair slides right under our breakfast bar just like the rest of our barstools. That is a very convenient feature for us. [...] I am definitely pleased with this purchase & like it FAR MORE than the Graco chair I used with both my daughters. That chair had so many crevices for bacteria to propagate--it was just gross. The cons---it doesn't recline. I didn't think I would need that feature b/c my son doesn't use bottles, but a reclining feature would make it easier to get the spoon in his mouth. It hasn't been a deal-breaker, though. Also, the pad is not the best. I can see that it would stain easily. Put your child in the seat with a clean diaper! You do not want leakage on that pad. I do wish the pad came in other colors & was readily available to replace. They should include an extra pad & extra straps with the chair. I would have paid a little more for those features. My husband did say that the straps will be difficult to remove for cleaning. So far, I've just wiped them down with a non-toxic cleaning cloth (such as Method or Dreft). I don't think the chair is the most comfortable on the market, but my son is only in it for our meal time. I should mention that my son is just a little above average in height & weight--he's not a large baby. A large baby may have a problem fitting comfortably in the chair. Overall, I love the chair & would highly recommend it."

Boon Flair - Pedestal High Chair Review
"We just got our new boon flair high chair in the mail today, and it is gorgeous let me tell you. The only thing that I noticed at all was a few stress spots on the plastic where the screws lightened up the coloring on the top of the pedestal. They also used some god awful sticky tape on the metal shaft that I'll need to scrape off, also, the straps are not that intuitive to loosen around the middle, but once you do that you probably wont be doing it all that often afterwards. I love the height, the look, and the two tray inserts (clear, not white) are great (three would be better!). It seems very sturdy and like it'll get the job done for a while into the future. It's also fairly easy to wheel around the kitchen, but not too easy as to make it skid away from you if you forgot to put the brake on! However, it really isn't all that big, so if you have a husky child I might recommend something roomier. Overall we are very satisfied so far."

"We've had this chair since before our son was born. We selected if for our registry based on the appearance and ease of cleaning. We got a hard time from some family members saying it was a little much for a high chair. We've used it everyday since my son was 4 months old and though we love it we haven't thought much of it. I'm a first time mom and have no other experience with highchairs. It wasn't until we went to visit family over the holidays and we used the high chairs that were available. Their highchairs were disgusting, there are so many tiny nicks and crannies to get food it, they were SO hard to clean, not to mention they just aren't pleasing to the eye! I have so much more appreciation for our high chair now (that's why I'm just now writing a review). I wipe it down after every use with a washcloth or clorox wipe and it takes NO time and looks brand new!! Yes, maybe a little pricey, but I highly recommend it! I'll be using this with any future children!"

Boon Flair - Pedestal High Chair Review
"I received this as a baby shower gift and I didn't even register for it but I'm so glad someone when out of my registry and got this highchair for me. The entire chair is so easy to clean. There's no grooves or crevices so you'll be able to get all the mess out by easy wiping. I love how easy it is to adjust the height of the seat so it can be at good height next to my kitchen island as well our regular dinning table. Also, the tray is much smaller than the Chicco or Peg-Perego trays so it will actually be able to fit in the dishwasher. The best part is how stylish it looks which goes with our home decor. The only draw back that I can see is if you have a big baby then your baby might grow out of it faster than expected."
