Seems like a good choice
"I used to design dishwashers for a competitor, Bosch was the standard for domestic kitchen dishwashers then and they still seem to be. While the Ascentia line is obviously a lower level with fewer features its far from a bare-bones model. It's quiet, it cleans well, it dries acceptably (always an issue with this type of design) and it was only a little more costly than the midrange models of the US Big Three a..." Read Full Review »

"We paid several hundred dollars more for this Bosch because we were told it was worth the money and quieter than others. Although it is not a bad dishwasher, it is nothing special - and not worth the extra money. The wash cycle is about 2 hours long, it does not dry the dishes, and it has no indication of how far it has progressed in the wash process, ie, you can't tell if it is just started or almost done. ..."
