High BTU output burners deliver a range of flame settings, while a separate, low-output burner provides gentle simmering. The large, substantial dials are easy to adjust to get the perfect flame. And multiple-size burners accommodate all manner of cooking styles. Bosch even gave the burners a sealed, recessed design to contain spills and make cleanup easy. In short, these cooktops are designed to meet your every need. So all you have to do is get cooking.

SMARTFLAME : For maximum user safety, a thermocouple is used to sense the presence of a flame after a burner is turned on. If the flame should blow out, the sensor will immediately register the change in temperature and turn off the gas flow. Now, you can use your gas cooktop without fear of excess gas escaping into the room.

Cast Iron Continuous Grates : This large, continuous low-profile cooking surface provides you with a versatile platform to work on. Now you can "really" cook. The stable cast-iron grate design allows you to effortlessly move your pans from one burner to the other, optimizing the use of the various burner sizes this cooktop features.
Deep Recessed Cooktop
TRIPLEFLAME™ Burner : The three flame ports in this burner create an even flame pattern across multiple sizes or pans and multiple cooking modes. As the heat is turned down, the flame is turned off from the outside towards the inside of the pan sequentially – providing the right amount of flame in the right location always.

"i love the versatility and the variety of sizes of the burner- can make delicate sauces and melt chocolate, to full power large pot boiled dinners and 5 pots can fit on the grates without pushing one off center. i just wish i could fit the large 3 grates in the sink to immerse and wash thoroughly- and if something splashes you have to remove them in order to wipe up spills and then also wash the grates-but easil..." "I've had this cooktop for a year and sometimes wish I got one with higher BTUs. There are a couple of burners with the high BTUs, but most are so weak. I don't consider myself someone who cooks alot and thought I could do with less, but.... The great thing about this cooktop is it's very easy to clean.
