Wall shaking sound from a compact!
"Purchaced for a computer room/office. Did not want any high priced cheap sounding 'computer speakers'. I do a lot of work with audio mixing and developement, therefore need loudspeakers that are accurate and natural sounding. The speakers are connected to my computer with the Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Elite Pro via a Harman Kardon HK3485 reciever rated at 120 watts per channel @ 8ohms. The sound is crisp, clear..." Not my first choice
"On my second pair, really want them to work out. The tweeter pops and cracks when playing radio. Bought a Sony receiver same time so I matched up the wattage based on salesman recommendations. Doesn't pop or crack when listening to CD's also don't like having to buy pre amp for turntable. Taking them back and will try another brand. Very disappointed they didn't work out...."
