"I got excited when I saw "Wireless" surround sound, so the assumption was mine that it would be totally wireless. It's not. You still have to connect speaker wires to the Receiver unit and then out to the surround speakers. The only difference is no wires are run from the front base unit to the rear surround speakers, but you still have to hide the wires in the back."

"No noticeable sound degradation for typical home theater uses. just remember, if it's not already clear to you, this just allows you to send a wireless signal from the speaker base unit to the rear of the room. You still need to run speaker wire from the wireless receiver to the rear speakers. Seems evident, but I've had a few people confused on it.



Only real reservation is the price."

"I recently moved to a new house, and didn't want to drill holes in the walls or floor to get the wires to the back of the room. I was somewhat skeptical about this product and concerned with sound quality. However, I'm happy to say there is absolutely no difference between using the SL2 and hard wiring the rear speakers!



a) The system is made up of two receivers. They are both very small, and are easily concealable.



b) The front receiver plugs into the base module with 2 wires (left & right speaker wires)



c) The rear speakers plug into the rear receiver.



d) Installation complete!

"If you're sold on BOSE, and you don't want to run wires all through your walls, this is the wireless system for you. I used this to set up the surround speakers on an Acoustimass 10 system. The wires harnesses that come with are 50' long and I used them to run up the wall from a cabinet and in to the atic. It was a piece of cake, compared to trying to run wires all the way from the front of a room 30' away. I was amazed to find that these units received a clear signal in a closed cabinet from over 35' away! The sound was great, and I saved about a day of work. Just don't try to put it in your attic. Also, you're going to be very surprised by the small size and stylish design of the product. You may not even feel the need to hide it. Definitely a great product."
