"I loved the included carrying harness. I like the Locking diopter ring. The center focus dial ONLY needs a slight adjustment to bring objects into (or out of) focus. These will gather enough light to make out objects up to 30 mins after sunset. I feel that these bino are an excellent value, however I would spend the extra dollars and get the Nikon Monarch ATB. I wished I had been able to compare them side by sid..." Read Full Review
Pros:
"Very sharp ED glass lens, great in low light . You can't beat them for the price. You could pay over a thousand or two for an other brand, these are just as good for a lot less money. Thank You B&H for the best price [...] Bushnell can't be beat."
Pros:
"Chuck, you are right on the money here. One of the best things too is the much larger field of view. My 10X42's are 340' @1,000 yards. That is the biggest in class. The only other pair that are that wide are 50% heavier then the Bushnells! Awesome binos.

"I am a professional naturalist and landmanager who always has binocs at hand. I also travel a lot especially to places like natural parks and my second home in far northern Canada. I used to chase birds, but now I just watch them or shoot them with the cameras, and plenty of other wildlife too.
My beautiful Swarovskis disappeared.(Friends still has theirs.) I decided not to spend as much money--I have lots of things I spend money on, like L lenses, etc. etc. I am a disciminating glass man. These binocs do an excellent job in the field. Quite honestly, there appears to be negligible viewing quality difference with the Swarovskis, and no doubt other high end and superb glasses. Now that ED glass and phase coated prisms have reached this price point, spending much more seems like either overkill or prestige, unless one is using binocs professionally and daily. These glasses focus close for butterflys; have a wide field which I find helpful for zoning in on birds in flight, the construction is not the ultimate but seems quite good, and the resolution and colors are excellent. Included attached top lens cover is a plus at this price. The armoring seems of good quality and is nicely gripable."
Pros:
"Hey Mark, I could not agree with you more! I have used Swarovski, Zeiss, etc. and find these to be the BEST value for the money hands down. I hunt with mine up here in Canada and they take a lot of abuse and shine on. Clarity is amazing! "In the past few years binocular enthusiasts have seen so called Chinese ED binoculars on the market. This is Bushnell's entry in this under 500 dollar market. There are others, with the open bridge body. The Bushnell is fine in this traditional roof prism style. I have no preference, both work for me. Optics are as sharp as the other brands, with a wide sweet spot. CA and stray light have not been a problem.Focus goes about 3/4 a turn from near to far, a bit faster than the others. Plenty of room to focus. Ergonomics are good. Eye glass wearers might want to stay with this 8x model, more eye relief. Without glasses, some people will not get enough distance with the eye cups to avoid blackouts. There is plenty of eye relief. In this respect the 10x model of the same is better. Comes with a harness and a comfortable strap.
Overall, there was nothing to stop me from buying the the 8x pair. I am used to holding the binoculars not jammed quite into the eye as far as possible. The price is good compared to the others(brands with the open bridge) right now."
Pros:
Cons:
"Bushnell is probably best known for there lower end line of optics sold in dept. stores. But they do make some excellent optics in there more expensive lines. These binoculars are proof. Also have Elite series 4200 rifle scope 3x9. Neither will fog up in any weather.I would put them up against other brands costing 2 or 3 times more. I could see the beards on turkeys yesterday at 600 yards with Ledgend Ultra HDs 8x42"
Pros:
"High quality optics and superior construction make these "Legends" a must have. Great for football games and hiking. Focus is easy and the field of vision is perfect for sporting events. There is great value in these fine optical instruments."
Pros:
"These beat the heck out of my old glasses, theyre lightweight, easy to use and the build seem very strong and durable. I now can see detail in all the deer I look at, giving me a better chance to choose between shooting or passing. I love how bright these are and cant wait to compare them with my brothers Ziess and nephews Burris Euro Diamonds.....should be close other than I paid [$] for mine."
Pros:
"I compared and looked around for quite some time before deciding to purchase these. I'm extremely happy that I did. They are better than expected. The long range view is very crisp and clear. The exit pupil range allows very good viewing as light expires too. This especially impressed me, as I look forward to using them for hunting. The size is perfect, not too compact, yet not at all bulky or too large. I love the versitle straps that were included with the item. I am very pleased with this purchase and the price was the best I found anywhere. B&H has yet to disappoint me. I am so glad they were referred to me by a friend.[...]"
Pros:
"I take classes of students to the tropics and I've always had a good camera and not-so-good binoculars. I finally broke down and looked into a decent pair of binocs. A lot of online and print reviews that I read recommended these as the best for the money and I agree. I've tried the much more expensive Swarovskis and these are comparable (I would say just as good) for a tenth of the cost. It seems to me that binoculars and a good Cabernet have this in common; above about 300 bucks the differences cannot be perceived by the average human (and with wine that low end is probably inflated) :)
These binoculars perform very well in low light and are very ruggedly built. They are not what you would call lightweight, and they do require a steady hand, but these are things that I was aware of and are a reasonable sacrifice for the performance gain. The close focus isn't bad at about 2.5 meters, and they come with a good harness and a sturdy case. I'm very happy with them."
Pros:
Cons:
"These binoculars are:
Sharp,
Bright,
Quick focus,
No Chromatic aberations,
Small and light for full sized Binoculars!
I use binoculars for Astronomy, Nature viewing and Travel. With the B&H Photo price these are a real winner!"
