Best "Bang for the Buck."
"I will get the down and dirty out of the way quickly: this thing is phenomenal, go buy one right now, then come back and read the review. Done? Okay... Buy this camera for the image quality, as no other small format (35 mm form factor) camera equals it in this regard, including those priced four times as much. Great camera, but quality?
"[$] Was fine till about a month ago - it started to shoot blanks - everything sounds fine when taking the picture, only turns out to be blanks (picture file has no data but a black screen, probably malfunction of the shutter/aperture). Had similar problem with my old Canon EOS 630 film camera, was able to fix it myself easily. But with this digital camera, I don't know if I can do the same. This camera is way be..."
