Stick with Name Brands!
"When shopping for a spare battery I noticed that the after-market battery had a slightly different voltage, not wanting to chance ruining my new camera, I elected to buy the Canon battery. I bought this equipmqnt for an Alaska Vacation and didn't want to run out of batery before film. Canon has a great reputation and I've been pleased, and I have never been let down by their equipment. "This battery holds it's charge. In morning when it is cold battery will lose some charge but what's left in charge will allow shooting for the rest of tape and some of another one. "For use with Canon camcorders. I use mine for the Canon ZR900 and this battery has lasted for at least 2.5-3 hours of recording time. It is light but a little bulky. "
