I would purchase this product again...
"This is the best wide angle lens I've ever used. At a recent wedding, I set-up my pd-170 with the wide angle lens attached at the alter and was able to capture the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom and the entire wedding (unman)..I was restricted from filming at the alter. Not a bad improvement to the GL2
"I find that a wide angle lens is a must for the GL2. With that being said this lens offers some improvements to the standard lens that comes with your GL2, but don't expect to be blown away by the results. I would have also liked it if the lens offered a threaded exterior for filter attachments...." Read Full Review »

Very clear, slight curving
"I used this lense to record stage productions where I needed the full length from center position.
Shot on a Sony PD170. Image seemed clear throughout, although front stage edge and top curtain showed curving instead of straight line (I think this is normal for WA lenses).

"Canon has the best optics, and this lens is no exception. The lens itself is fairly heavy and adds a lot of weight to the rather light GL2.
