All coffee, water, and steam functions are completely programmable to your own personal taste, guaranteeing brews that are delicious to the last drop every time.

10-Digit LCD Display: All settings can be changed using the high-visibility 10-digit LCD display and auto-illuminating buttons, including language, cup size (between one and 16 ounces), and brew strength (mild, medium, or strong). All instructions are displayed in plain, easy-to-understand languages (choose from English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Dutch). Set the machine to adapt to your water hardness, which you can measure using the included water-hardness indicator strip.

High-Pressure Brewing: According to the majority of coffee experts, grinding, tamping, and brewing under high pressure is the ideal extracting process for maximum flavor and aroma - so that's how the Impressa F8 was built to operate. Just press one of the two cup buttons and your Impressa F8 will grind, tamp, and brew your personal blend. Let the integrated solid steel conical burr grinder grind five to 16 grams of whole beans to the preferred fineness, or use a separate funnel for pre-ground coffee. Touch the one-cup button once, twice, or three times for mild, regular, or strong coffee; touch the two-cup button to produce twice as much coffee as is shown in the display. The coffee spout is height-adjustable, so any size cup will fit. Every cup of coffee or espresso is topped with a rich layer of "crema," a thick foam made to trap a wide array of fine aromatics and light flavors that register on the palate.

Integrated Burr Grinder: Choose from six fineness settings for any type of coffee bean, and the Impressa F8's integrated stainless steel conical grinder will do the rest. The eight-ounce bean container can grind up to 30 portions of coffee before refilling. For pre-ground coffee, simply use the automatic pre-ground funnel system.

frothXpress Plus System: For frothing and steaming milk, use the frothXpress Plus. This fast, precise system allows you to fill cup after cup with the desired amount of hot milk, then automatically froths the milk based on your settings. Choose from the Cappuccino or Latte settings, control the temperature, and set the steam output. The frothXpress Plus automatically siphons milk from your cold milk container, combines it with hot steam, and delivers hot, frothed milk into your cappuccinos, or hot steamed milk with little to no froth into delicious lattes. It can also be used to release hot water for Cafe Americano or tea.

CLEARYL Water Care System: The CLEARYL system guarantees better-tasting coffee by removing impurities like chlorine, lead, aluminum, and copper. A special organic additive removes almost all carbon and eliminates decalcifying altogether. To make sure you always have the best water possible, an electronic cartridge inside the filtering system indicates when it needs changing.

Automatic Cleaning Cycles: When the Impressa F8 is turned on or off, an automatic hot-water rinse cycle activates to clean and preheat all of the machine's vital brewing components. The automatic cleaning cycle indicator prevents coffee oil buildup and rancid residue in the brew chamber, and the LED display gives clear instructions for the 15-minute automated tablet-cleaning program, which will generate an automatic cleaning reminder after approximately 200 brew cycles. Automatic indicators inform you of the water filter and cleaning-cycle status, as well as used coffee and water levels. An electronic water-level sensor guarantees the machine will never operate without water.
